Please note the surgery is a training practice which means that we have a registrar, who will stay with us for 12 months. During their training, they sometimes have to video consultations. If this is required, we will ask for your consent before you see the doctor.

Nurses

Practice nurses are qualified and registered nurses. They can help with health issues such as family planning, healthy living advice, blood pressure checks and dressings. The practice nurses run clinics for long-term health conditions such as asthma or diabetes, minor ailment clinics and carry out cervical smears.

SHAUN JEFFERS

Practice Manager

Shaun joined the Practice in October 2021 after spending two years prior to this doing Practice Management in Dentistry. Shaun enjoys making a difference to the community, supporting the Primary Care Network (PCN) in Salford South East attending Cancer meetings and feeding back information into the PCN, whilst also helping improve access to Primary Care. He is involved in managing the business aspect of the Practice, from HR recruitment, to patient services/patient care. Shaun enjoys improving patients journey in Primary Care and ensuring his patients get the best service everytime. Shaun enjoys working closely with his team to ensure everybody is doing the right role within the Practice, he has embedded some great training mechanisms to ensure this is always the case and we'd love to hear your feedback. Outside of work, Shaun has two young Children and got Married in 2017. He enjoys spending time with his Family, going for walks and watching the football at the weekend.

Health Visitors

A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing.
