You can use My Planned Care to view the average waiting times in Greater Manchester Hospitals
If your doctor has referred you to a Specialist for further care you will be asked to book your appointment using the ‘NHS e-Referral’ system. It’s fast, convenient and secure.
- The Manage Your Referral website is easy for patients to use. It allows them to book, check, change and cancel their appointments online
- Patients can take control and book their own appointment on a convenient date and time and at their preferred hospital or Clinic if there is a choice
- No more worried patients having to contact the Practice to find out what is happening with their appointment
You will normally receive a letter from us within 2 weeks giving details of how to book your appointment and any passwords you may need.
NHS e-Referral Tracking

To track your e-Referral you will need the following details to log into the e-Referral website:
- Your date of birth
- Reference number – this will be on the first page of your letter
- Password – this will be on the second page of your letter

Wellbeing Matters
Wellbeing Matters is led by Salford CVS, the support organisation for the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector. Wellbeing Matters includes a social prescribing approach that links statutory health and care services to the VCSE sector. The aim is to support people to connect to local community assets to support their wellbeing and independence, reducing the need for intervention by health and care services.
What is Wellbeing Matters?
Wellbeing Matters is a Social Prescribing approach which helps build capacity in the VCSE ecosystem through volunteering and voluntary action in Salford. Our social prescribing approach connecting patients to the VCSE sector to support wellbeing. Wellbeing Matters provides social prescribing support through a Community Connector to enable people to access non-medical wellbeing support within their neighbourhood by connecting them into local activity and provision tailored to them. It is a neighbourhood model, operating across Salford with add Community Connectors in each of the five health and care neighbourhoods, a city-wide Community Connector, a Living Well Mental Health Community Connector, a long COVID Community Connector and a Home First Hospital Discharge Community Connector. Wellbeing Matters is led by Salford CVS in partnership with five VSCE anchor organisations employ a Community Connector (The Big Life Group, START inspiring Minds, Social Adventures, Inspiring Communities Together and Langworthy Cornerstone).
